Hypnotherapy can be used to treat a wide range of issues from smoking cessation, sleep disorders, weight management and stress through to psychosomatic disorders whereby the emotional and psychological distress has actually manifested as a physical symptom in the body.

About Jill Corbey

Jill is a qualified Pyschotherapist, with a Pluralistic Approach.  Jill has a combination of different therapeutic approaches within her toolbox, from Hypnotherapy to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and from Psychodynamics to the Person Centred approach.  Jill is able to adapt her approach dependent on her client, for not all one fits for all.   Jill thrives on helping others who struggle with the stress and strains of modern life, by giving them the space and time to have a voice and just to be listened to. 
Jill truly believes all forms of therapy no matter if CBT, Hypnotherapy or talking therapy are there to facilitate and  allows everyone who wants to embark of their own self reflective personal journey.  A journey which gives them a better understanding of who they are and how they can enrich their own experiences in their own life.  For each one of Jills clients, she believes they hold their own solution somewhere within themselves. It is Jills role to help each one of her clients to find and unlock this solution and allow them time to work towards making it a reality.  

 Jill has a professional membership with the National Hypnotherapy Society and is a member of the National Counselling Society –  Jill is a qualified Psychotherapist and is now embarking on her PhD.  Jill is also a member of BACP.

About Jessica Goodchild

Jessica has a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy from the College of Inspirational Hypnotherapy in West Sussex and is a member of the Hypnotherapy Association (www.thehypnotherapyassociation.co.uk).
 

Jessica has also gained a Personal Performance Coaching Diploma with The Coaching Academy and additional Diploma’s in CBT (Cognative Behavioural Therapy) EFT (Emotional Freedom Techinque) and The Power Coaching FormulaTM as well as being a Certified Reiki Practitioner. 

All of these tools enable her to help as many people as possible through a combination of all these practices.
 
Passionate about helping people to have a more positive and enjoyable experience of life and coaching them to embrace their true self without judgment or questioning, Jessica feels there is so much that Hypnotherapy has to offer and that everyone can benefit.

What To Expect From Your Consultation & Treatments

Hypnotherapy sessions last approximately 1 hour.  We will talk over and gain clarity around what you want to work on and gain an understanding of what we need to do in order to create the desired change. 

We will then work together, using hypnosis, to align your desired outcome with what we have discussed in the earlier part of the session.

Some people will experience deeper levels of relaxation than others and this will differ from person to person and may also differ from session to session for each individual.

You will be in complete control at all times. Your subconscious mind is protected by your values and beliefs, if a suggestion were made that did not fit into your perceived identity of yourself, the suggestion would not work and no changes will take place.

Stop Smoking Sessions

These sessions start with an initial telephone consultation regarding what to expect and any questions you may have. There will be two further sessions after the initial telephone consultation.
 
Your first session will explore why you smoke, what is smoking and what smoking means to you. The second session will be the hypnotherapy session to become a non-smoker.  Both sessions will be 60 minutes  and should not be more than seven days apart from each other.

Jessica is very relaxing to be with as a therapist calm, peaceful and considerate. I so enjoyed my hypnotherapy. I have always been apprehensive about hypnotherapy and perhaps frightened by the prospect of being slightly out of control in terms of what I might say to someone I know little about. However my sessions with Jess have completely dispelled this fear and opened a door into a therapy that I feel is hugely beneficial. In essence for me it is like a relaxing meditation with a particular focus that initiates shift in thought from negative to positive. It is hugely relaxing and Jess has a great voice for guiding you through. Highly recommended.
