Susannah Goward

Creative Counselling for Adults and Children

Susannah is an integrative counsellor with a person-centred core approach. She offers a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. With over 25 years of experience working with children, families, and adults, she uses various therapeutic and creative techniques tailored to your needs to help you uncover your inner strengths.

Her practice is grounded in empathy and a desire to genuinely understand and connect to your thoughts and feelings, allowing you to express yourself without fear of criticism. Alongside this, she has available a range of creative materials eg sand tray, modelling clay, puppets and small world play, to help young people and adults connect to their imagination and explore narratives and emotions. Through this collaborative process, you can gain deeper self-awareness, overcome personal challenges, and achieve greater emotional well-being and resilience.

Her work is underpinned by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapist’s (BACP's) Ethical Framework, ensuring she practises safely, ethically and to high professional standards. She is fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS certificate.

She is qualified to work with adults, young People and children and is a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). As well as growing a private practice, she works in schools supporting children and young people with a variety of needs.
